Loving God. Loving People.

COVID-19 Response

As of 3:00 pm March 21st, Missouri State Governor, Mike Parson, has ordered statewide social distancing, requiring every person to avoid social gatherings of more than 10 people.  We will be honoring this executive order as we strive to do our due diligence in helping the cause of health and safety.

With this in mind we feel very strongly about fulfilling our role as a church during this time.  Our role in spiritual feeding, prayer, community outreach, and fellowship must continue.  Therefore, Landmark Baptist Church plans on moving forward with this issue in these actions:

  1. All congregation assembling will be cancelled until further notice.

  2. We encourage you to join us online for our church services.  Full services (including singing and preaching) will be streamed in their entirety on our church YouTube page at

  3. If you would like a song book, or offering envelope, please contact pastor or Bro. Josh.

  4. You are encouraged to keep the routine of time for the church services – Sunday morning at 11:00 am, Sunday evening at 6:00 pm, and Wednesday evening at 7:00 pm.

  5. Feel free to invite anyone you know to watch the services live on the LBC Rolla YouTube page.

  6. Each church family is encouraged to pray at the church.  Beginning at 3:00 pm Sunday afternoon, the church will be open and available for families to come and spend time in prayer. You must contact pastor if you are planning to come so that appropriate numbers can be organized and maintained.  That will allow us to stay in groups of 10, or less, and there will be thorough cleaning throughout the day.  We believe strongly that the answer is in God’s people humbly asking for help and hope during this time.  There is strength in bowing before God as a family and understanding that our true hope is in God.

  7. For fellowship, it is strongly encouraged that as members of Landmark Baptist Church we call and encourage our fellow church members (our family!).

  8. Our staff, and/or one of our church men, will be engaged in making deliveries (song books, offering envelopes, etc.) each week.  These men will spend time in fellowship and prayer with those while practicing social distancing.  We are encouraging a time of prayer with this opportunity as well.  Prayer and fellowship will be extremely important in keeping our spirit of unity for our church family!

  9. Online giving—Please remember, the ministry will continue! Let’s be faithful in our giving.  You can give securely online at  You may also mail a check directly to the church, or drop it in the mailbox at 10175 Old St. James Rd., Rolla, MO 65401.

  10. We will keep our church family and community up to date with changes in our response via social media.

Think of how great it is going to be when we get to come back together!

As information about this is constantly changing and updating, we will adapt to the situation as seems best, while keeping the safety of our church and community in mind.

We hope this helps and if you have any questions or further concerns please feel free to contact the church or myself.

Again remember, Jesus told us in John 16:33, "In the  world ye shall have  tribulation: but  be  of  good  cheer; I have overcome the  world.” Although this is a challenging time, we who know Christ can keep our confidence in Him!

In Christ,

Pastor Jason Tucker
